Just because you lose weight doesn’t mean you’re in better fitness shape. Simply put, it means exactly the way it sounds. You lost weight, possibly not fat. Maybe even muscle weight. Focus on fat loss and be all the more happy with your results.
Guess what increases fat loss in your body. Muscles.
I have hardly worked out at all since I got my new job (and by hardly I mean like 2 times in 4.5 weeks!!) I haven’t been eating a lot of food quantity wise but have not been making healthy choices. I need a little kick in the pants!! Any words of encouragement/advice?

Standing Quad Stretch. This basic quad stretch is probably one you’re already familiar with. It’s great because you can do it almost anywhere — you don’t need a lot of space or equipment because you can do it right where you’re already standing. Make sure your knees are touching when you do this stretch and hold on each side for 20-30 seconds. And, if you can’t balance, don’t worry — just use the wall to support yourself.
Lying Side Quad Stretch. Sometimes during my yoga practice, or while I’m in bed, I’ll do this stretch. It’s a bit more relaxing, and you don’t have to worry about falling over! Try it the next time you’re watching TV.
Kneeling Quad Stretch. This stretch is a variation of the basic standing stretch, but the support of the wall will give it a bit more intensity. If you have bad knees this might not be the stretch for you — I recommend making a knee pad out of a small towel.
Double Quad Stretch. Take that kneeling stretch to the floor, and by doing so makes things a little more intense! The upside is that you’ll be lying down, which is pretty relaxing.
Half Frog Pose. While many yoga poses challenge your muscles to work harder, many offer relief. Half Frog pose is a great one to do after a series of challenging standing poses like the Warrior Triangle sequence. It will be a deeper quad stretch than you might be used to, but it’s well worth it. If Half Frog pose still feels like kid stuff, challenge yourself withFrog pose instead, which stretches both quads simultaneously.
It’s true that using a fitness ball can make any exercises more challenging. But the more challenging the exercise the stronger you will become, making your workout more efficient. Working on an unstable surface, like a ball that can roll, means you must stabilize your core, so it doesn’t take many reps before you begin feeling the work. Grab an exercise ball and a set of dumbbells (five to 10 pounds) and try these three moves. Repeat all three exercises for a total of three sets. Trust me, you’ll have a ball with this workout.
Some of you may have noticed that I deleted my stats and progress page a few days ago. When I first created this blog, I was of a different mind set and was influenced by other weight loss tumblrs. As time went by, this blog morphed into something different. I posted more advice and tips/recipes, workouts than thinspiraton. I don’t like all the thinspo blogs that don’t post helpful things weather it be helpful physically or mentally. I felt like by continuing to have a progress page, it was taking away from the focus of my blog which is to work with what you have, and to do your best when you can and reward yourself when you deserve it. Of course I still have personal goals for myself, but I don’t want those things to get in the way of my mental health goals. I hope you guys understand why I did this. :)
I binged big time this weekend ): Any advice on how to make yourself feel better after a big pig out or how to control yourself so you don't end up doing it again?
I Would drink a large glass of ice water and maybe take a shower if you have time. It seems to make me feel slimmer and cleaner. Try to remember what you feel like right now and channel that towards the next time you want to eat something you know you shouldn’t have. Most importantly, you need to forgive yourself. Things like this happen and it doesn’t mean you did something wrong and it doesn’t make you a bad person. It makes you human!

Don’t be sorry! I love questions!! I got It done at Benefit and they do it by hand with an air brush machine which is really nice. They have different darknesses which is also really good. I wasn’t very tan before but I had some color so she put the second to darkest one one me (I went in naked which was weird at first but then it was ok). So far it looks really good but its hard to tell since the bronzer they put in it (to see where they are putting it) clumps up but they say once you shower that part comes off and the actual self tanner is there. I am going to shower tomorrow so I’m excited to see it all even and smooth. It was $40 and I tipped the girl $5. Its not orange at all btw. Not like the typical spray tan.
